NO OF VACANCIES: 2954 + vacant posts of Clerkship Examination for Clerks and Supervisor (Female only) through West Bengal Public Service Commission (WB PSC), Kolkata.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. The General & OBC candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 110/- (for Clerk) and Rs. 160/- (for Supervisor) +Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- for online payment through debit/credit card or Rs.20/- only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment) up to 25-03-2019 and 16-04-2019 respectively.
No fee from S.C/ S.T candidates of West Bengal/ Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40%. No exemption of fee is available to SC/ ST candidates of other states & BC candidates.

Clerkship Examination, 2019.

Educational Qualification: A passed of Madhyamik examination from West Bengal Secondary Education or equivalent qualification. Applicants must have knowledge of typing speed on computer 20 words per minute in English and 10 words per minute in Bengali and ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.
Age Limit: As on 01-01-2019 -
1. Minimum Age: 18 years.
2. Maximum Age: 40 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5,400/- to Rs. 25,200/- + G.P. Rs. 2,600/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.
WBPSC Recruitment Clerk Exam, Selection process: The examination shall consists of 2 parts, viz., i) Part-I (Objective Type) (ii) Part-II (Conventional Type – Written).
Scheme of Examination: Part-I and Part-II -
1. Part-I Examination: Part-I will carry 100 marks having 100 questions of 1 (one) mark each, comprising of multiple choice, objective type question on English (30 marks), General Studies (40 marks) and Arithmetic (30 marks). The duration of Part-I examination shall be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
2. Part-II Examination: Part-II shall consist of conventional type questions on a) Group-A: English b) Group-B: Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali carrying 50 marks each for Group-A and Group-B. The duration of Part II examination shall be 1 hour.
NOTE: The elementary knowledge in Computer operation and ability of typing on Computer of the candidates shall be judged only after they are found qualified in Part-I and Part-II.

Advertisement No. 08/2019: The Commission will hold a competitive examination on the results of which recruitment will be made to the post of Supervisor of ICDS (Female only) under the Department of Women & Child Development & Social Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal.

Age Limit: Not more than 39 years as on 01-01-2019 (i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 1980).
Pay Scale: Rs.7,100/- to 37,600/- + G.P. Rs. 3,600/-+ G.P. Rs. 2,600/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules. Total minimum emoluments will Rs.27,000/- per month.
Selection process: The Examination for the post of Supervisor (Female only) of ICDS, 2019 will be held in three successive parts, viz.,(i) Preliminary Screening Test (Objective Multiple Choice Question) (ii) Written Examination (Conventional Type) followed by (iii) Viva- Voce Test. A number of candidates to be selected on the basis of result of the Preliminary Screening Test will be allowed admission to the Written Examination and a number of candidates to be selected on the basis of result of the Written Examination will be called to appear at the Viva- Voce Test.
NOTE: Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in Part- II & Part- III Examination taken together.
