Eligibility Criteria in UP
Category of General,
SC, ST, OBC and minorities group students can apply, if
applicant is a student of 9th class or 10th class in any of the Uttar
Pradesh (UP) districts. The annual income limit to
be eligible to apply for scholarship is less than one lakh
rupees. In case of SC/ST candidates, the family annual income should not exceed
more than two lakh rupees.

Students will have to
take two papers of 150 marks each instead of three papers of
100 marks and score above 40% to be eligible for scholarship.
The government resolution also said that CBSE and CISCE board students will
continue to take the exam, but will not be eligible to receive the scholarship money.

UP
scholarship is fairly available for all the candidates belonging to any of the
categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST.
Ø
Applicants
from those institutes, which are blacklisted by the government, are not
eligible to apply for the scholarship. These barred colleges include Chaudhary
Babulal Institute of Technology and Management, Hathras, Excellence College of
Professional Studies, Meerut and Shri Krishna College of Engineering and
Technology, Baghpat.

It
is necessary for students to attach a hardcopy of the photocopy of the bank
passbook with the application form.
Ø
Registrants
must submit the application form in the department concerned, in person and
must receive the receipt.

Candidates
must provide their own effective email ID and mobile phone number.

All
the details and documents produced by the candidate must be authentic and real.
