SSB Constable Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria

SSB has invited online application from citizens of India, Nepal or Bhutan for
filling up 1522 Constable Vacancies in Sahastra Seema Bal, Govt. of India,
Ministry of Home Affairs in the Level-3 (Pay Matrix Rs. 21700-69100) as per
7th Pay commission and other allowances as admissible in the Armed
Force. The posts are temporary but likely to be continued in future. Selected
candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India or outside the territory
of India and will be governed under SSB Act & Rules and other Rules as
applicable time to time.

SSB Constable Bharti 2020: Eligibility Criteria
SSB Constable Educational Qualifications (What is SSB Constable Eligibility?)
1. Constable (Driver)
– Must be 10th passed or equivalent from a recognized board and possess a
valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
2. Constable (Lab Assistant) –
Must be 10th passed with Science stream. Should have a certificate in Lab
Assistant Course.
3. Constable (Veterinary) –
Must be 10th or Matriculation Exam passed with Science as the main subject from
a recognized board or university.
4. Constable (Aya) –
Must be 10th passed with Science and possess the first aid exam pass certificate
from red cross society or should be trained Dai with 1-year experience in the
relevant field.
5. Constable (Carpenter,
Plumber, Painter and Other) – Must hold Matriculation degree or
equivalent passed and two years’ work experience in respective trade.

SSB Constable Age Limit
The post wise age limit is given below.
1.
Constable for the post of Driver, Male: 18 to 27 years.
2.
Constable for the post of Lab Assistant,
Veterinary, Ayah (Female Only), Carpenter, Plumber, Painter: 18 to 25 years.
3.
Constable for the post of Cook, Washer
man, Barber, Safaiwala, Water Carrier, Waiter, Tailor, Cobbler, Gardner: 18 to 23 years.
SSB Constable Bharti 2020 Selection Process
The
selection for the SSB Tradesman will be done on the following 3 stages. The
candidates will have to medically fit.
1.
Stage- I will be Physical Standard Test
(PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in Nature.
2.
Stage- II is written Examination: 100 Marks.
3.
Stage –III will be Trade Test.
