UPSC CMS 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Guys, the UPSC
CMS Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria has been released by on UPSC
official website. Aspirants interested in applying for UPSC CMS Exam 2023
should have passed their MBBS Degree and must not have attained the age
of 32 years as on 1st August 2023 i.e. the candidate must have been born
not earlier than 2nd August 1991. However, for Medical Officers Grade in
General Duty Medical Officers Sub cadre of Central Health Services, the
upper age limit must not exceed 35 years as on 1st August 2023. Aspirants can
check the eligibility below.
UPSC CMS 2023 Age Limit
- Max Age: 32 Years.
- Candidates must fulfill age limit as on 1.8.2023.
- Age Relaxation as per Rules.
UPSC CMS 2023 Educational Qualification
- Aspirants must have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. examination to be eligible for the CMS exam 2023.
- Jobseekers who have not yet passed the final M.B.B.S. exam may also apply, but their admission is provisional and subject to cancellation. If these candidates pass the written examination, they must submit proof of passing the final M.B.B.S. exam by the closing date of the detailed Application Form. The proof of passing the final M.B.B.S. exam should be issued no later than the closing date of the Detailed Application Form.
- Candidates who have not completed their compulsory rotating internship are still eligible for the exam but will only be appointed after completing the internship if they are selected.

Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways: Level 10 of Pay Matrix (Rs.
56100-177500/-).
- Medical
Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health
Service: Level-10 (Rs. 56,100/- to Rs.1,77,500/-) of the pay matrix and NPA.
- General Duty Medical Officer in the New Delhi Municipal Council: Pay Matrix Level-10 Rs. 56,100 1,77,500/- + restricted Non practicing allowance (NPA).
- General Duty Medical Officer Gr. II in Municipal Corporation of Delhi: Minimum of first cell of Rs.56,100/- in the level 10 of the Pay Matrix under 7th CPC (corresponding to pre-revised scale in PB–3 Rs.15600-39100/-+GP Rs.5400/-) + NPA.
