Educational Qualifications

must meet the following criteria:
· B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc.
Nursing from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/State
Nursing Council, or B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) /Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a
recognized institute.
· Registered as Nurse &
Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council. OR
· Candidates may possess a
Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized
Institute/Board or Council, along with registration as Nurse & Midwife.
· Additionally, candidates must
have a minimum of two years’ experience in a hospital with a capacity of at
least 50 beds, registered with the competent district medical authority, post
obtaining the educational qualification.

The Salary of
the selected candidates will be Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.
44,900/- to Rs.1,42,400/-).
UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The UPUMS
Recruitment 2024 incorporates the following steps in its selection process:
Scheme of
Examination: The test will last for a
period of three hours, which is equivalent to 180 minutes. During this time,
you will be presented with a total of 200 multiple-choice questions,
collectively worth 600 marks. The questions will be given in both English and
Hindi, providing you with the option to answer in your preferred language.
The package
consists of 170 multiple-choice questions covering various subjects in the
field of nursing, and an additional 30 multiple-choice questions relating to
general English, general knowledge, current affairs, reasoning, and
mathematics.
Incorrect answers
will not result in negative marking. The Computer Based Test (CBT) requires a
minimum of 40% for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, and 35% for SC & ST
candidates to qualify.

UPUMS Staff Nurse Exam 2024: Scheme of Examination
- The duration of the Test shall be 03 hours.
- 200 questions of 600 marks with four alternatives for each question (English & Hindi both languages).
- 170 questions related to Nursing subjects.
- 30 questions related to General English, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Mathematics)
- There will be negative marking of 1/3 (0.33) marks for each wrong answer.
