NOTIFICATION: Bihar Police, Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar invites filled in applications for the recruitment of 11783 Police Constable vacancies in Bihar State from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can send filled in application up to 28-02-2014. 35% seats are reserved for Female Candidates in Bihar Police constable vacancies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Intermediate/ 10+2 Class 12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Institute.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age must be in between 18 years to 23 years for General category candidates/18 years to 25 years for OBC Male candidates/18 years to 26 years for OBC Female candidates and 18 years to 28 years for SC/ ST and other reserved category candidates as on 01-01-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. applicable Rules.
PAY SCALE: Pay Band -1 - Rs. 5200/-20200/- with Grade pay as applicable.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in written examination, physical efficiency test /physical fitness test and medical test.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs. 200/- for General/ BC/ OBC candidates and Rs. 75/-for SC/ ST and other reserved category candidates to be paid as an application fee, Application form is available for sale at the Head Post Offices in every district of Bihar State.
