NOTIFICATION:  Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), under Ministry of Home Affair, Govt. of India invites filled in applications for the recruitment of 206 vacant posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) Group 'C (non- Gazetted Ministerial) / Head Constable (Education & Stress Counselor) /Head Constable (Ministerial) (Men & Women) (including a subject of Nepal & Bhutan) from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can send filled in application up to 31-03-2014. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Refer official notification-

1- ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR (Stenographer) (DR) - A passed of Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Board/Institute and practice of (a) Dictation - 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. (b) Transcription - 50 minutes (English) on computer or 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer must necessary.

2- HEAD CONSTABLE (HC)/ESC - A passed of Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent qualification with Psychology as a subject or Degree from a recognized University with Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Teaching or its equivalent qualification.

3- HEAD CONSTABLE (HC)/Ministerial (DR and LDCE) - A passed of Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or its equivalent qualification and must have knowledge of a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi only on computer. (35 w.p.m. in English/30 w.p.m. Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English/9000 KDPH in Hindi with average of 5 key depression for each word on computer).

  

AGE RELAXATION: Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules. 

PHYSICAL STANDARDS: Candidate’s physic must be of required standard. 

Male: ASI- Height - 165 Cms, Chest - Male - 75-80 Cms. 

Female: ASI - 155 Cms, Chest- Not required for Female. 

Male: HC - Height - 170 Cms, Chest - Male - 80-85 Cms. 

Female: HC - 157 Cms, Chest- Not required for Female. 

RELAXATION IN PHYSICAL: Relaxation is available as per Govt. Rules for reserved category candidates, refer official Advt./notification.

MEDICAL STANDARDS: As per department rules candidates must be medically fit.

EYE SIGHT- Distant vision must be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing spectacles of lenses. 

The candidate must not have knock knee/ flat foot/ varicose veins / squint in eyes. 

Must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties. 

Any candidate with a small engraving Tattoo of name of religious symbol on the inner face of the arms /hands is permitted for enrolment. Candidate having permanent Tattoo on any other part of body shall be debarred for recruitment.

PAY SCALE: ASSISTANT SUB INSPECTOR (ASI)- PB-1, Rs. 5200/- to 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2800/- per month. 

HEAD CONSTABLE (HC) - PB-1, Rs. 5200/- to 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month.

REQUIRED FEE:  An amount of Rs. 50/- (Non refundable) by General and OBC category candidates is to be paid as an application fee in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS) from Post office of the country drawn in favour of the authority mentioned at official Advt./notification. 

No fee is to be paid by SC/ST, Ex Service Men, Female candidates and ITBP candidate for the post of ASI/Steno (LDCE) & HC/Ministerial (LDCE). Refer official Notification for eligibility.

POST RESERVATION:  Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC),     Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Shortlisted eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in PET/Race & all other activities /written test and medical fitness test.
