NOTIFICATION:  Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), under Ministry of Home Affair, Govt. of India invites filled in applications for the recruitment of 52 vacant posts of constable and Head Constable (Men & Women) (including a subject of Nepal & Bhutan) from Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can send filled in application up to 31-03-2014. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Refer official notification-

1- HEAD CONSTABLE (Master)- A passed of 10+2 or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and Master or Serang Certificate and one year experience in the trade from a recognized Establishment /Institution.

2- HEAD CONSTABLE (Workshop)- A passed of 10+2 or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and Diploma or Certificate in Diesel Engine/ Machinist Welder/ Machine Shop/ Carpentry/ Electrician/ Fitter/ Turner from Industrial Training Institute or any other recognized Institutes and one year experience in the trade from a recognized Establishment /Institution.

3- HEAD CONSTABLE (Engine Driver)- A passed of 10+2 or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and possessing 2nd  Class Engine Driver Certificate and one year experience in the trade from recognized Establishment /Institution.

4- CONSTABLE (Workshop) - A passed of Matriculation or its equivalent qualification and Diploma or Certificate in Diesel Engine/ Machinist/ Welder/ Machine Shop/ Carpentry/ Electrician/ Fitter/ Turner from Industrial Training Institute or any other recognized Institutes and one year experience in the trade from a recognized Establishment /Institution.

5- CONSTABLE (Crew) - A passed of Matriculation or its equivalent qualification and must have 02 years experience in operating of boat below 265 HP as a sukhani or Greaser or 2nd  class Engine Driver Certificate and 01 year experience in the trade from a recognized Establishment /Institution.

  

AGE RELAXATION: Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules. 

PHYSICAL STANDARDS: Candidate’s physic must be of required standard. 

Male: Height - 170 Cms, Chest - Male - 80-85 Cms. 

Female - 157 Cms, Chest- Not required for Female. 

RELAXATION IN PHYSICAL: Relaxation is available as per Govt. Rules for reserved category candidates, refer official Advt./notification.

MEDICAL STANDARDS: As per department rules candidates must be medically fit.

EYE SIGHT- Distant vision must be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing spectacles of lenses. 

The candidate must not have knock knee/ flat foot/ varicose veins / squint in eyes. 

Must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties. 

Any candidate with a small engraving Tattoo of name of religious symbol on the inner face of the arms /hands is permitted for enrolment. Candidate having permanent Tattoo on any other part of body shall be debarred for recruitment.

REQUIRED FEE:  Refer official Notification for eligibility.

POST RESERVATION:  Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC),     Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Shortlisted eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in PET/Race & all other activities /written test and medical fitness test.
