NOTIFICATION: Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) invites online applications for the recruitment of 550 vacant posts of Junior Engineers and Assistant Engineers in Civil and Mechanical disciplines in various departments of Govt. of Karnataka from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online up to 02-04-2014. POST WISE DETAILS: 550 Junior Engineers and Assistant Engineers posts-
1- ASSISTANT ENGINEER (Mechanical) – 40 posts.
Required Qualification: A Degree in relevant field of engineering/technology.
2- JUNIOR ENGINEER (Civil) - 131 posts.
Required Qualification: A Diploma in relevant field of engineering/technology.
3- ASSISTANT Engineer (Civil) - 365 posts.
Required Qualification: A Degree in relevant field of engineering/technology.
4- JUNIOR ENGINEER (Mechanical) - 14 posts.
Required Qualification: A Diploma in relevant field of engineering/technology.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age must be in between of 18 years to 33 years as on 30-03-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST and OBC.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs.300/- for unreserved candidates and Rs.25/- for reserved categories candidates. Payment of fee is to be made through Online mode (net-banking/credit card/debit card).
PAY SCALE: Assistant Engineer- Rs. 22800/- to Rs. 43200/- and Junior Engineer- Rs. 17650/- to Rs. 32000/-per month.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman (Exs).
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test followed by interview.
