NOTIFICATION: The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai invites online applications for the recruitment of 942 posts of clerks from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online up to 03-04-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: 942 posts of clerks-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of SSC/ Matriculation/10th class with minimum 50% marks and must have knowledge of 30 wpm typing speed of English/ Marathi and must have certificate of DOEACC.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age must be in between 18 years to 33 years and 38 years for reserved category candidates.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST and OBC.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs.400/- by unreserved Category candidates & Rs.200/- by reserved category candidates as an application fee is to be paid through State Bank of India (SBI). After payment of application fee, take system generated receipt for future use. Refer official notification.
No fee from Ex-Servicemen candidates.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 5200/- to 20200/- + Grade pay of Rs. 2000/-. Refer official notification.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman (Exs).
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants will be selected on the performance of written Test (Online Test) and documents verification.
