REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Master’s degree / Ph.D. in relevant subject from a recognized University. A good academic record with at least 55% (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who passed their Master’s degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D. degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or equivalent degree from a foreign University. Applicant must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC (SLET/SET).
REQUIRED AGE: Refer official notification.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST and OBC.
REQUIRED FEE: A Demand Draft of Rs.250/- as an application fee for each application by UR & OBC category candidates and Rs.100/- for SC & ST category candidates drawn in favour of “Director, Institute of Home Economics” and payable at Delhi. The applicant must mention their Name/ Date of Birth and Subject applied for on the back side of the Demand Draft.
No fee by PwD category candidates.
PAY SCALE: Rs.15600/- to 39100/- +AGP Rs.6000/- plus usual allowances as admissible under the rules of University of Delhi from time to time.
