NOTIFICATION: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) (Southern Region) Chennai invites online applications for the recruitment of 16 posts of Group-B and Group-C Medical Compounder/ Scientist Assistant/ Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-I/ Instructor (Marine Engineering)/ Senior Research Assistant and Quarantime Inspector from Male/Female Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online application up to 21-04-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: 16 posts of Group-B and Group-C-
1. Medical Compounder: 01 post.
2. Scientist Assistant: 03 posts.
3. Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-I: 03 posts.
4. Instructor (Marine Engineering): 02 posts.
5. Senior Research Assistant: 06 posts.
6. Quarantime Inspector: 01 post.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Matric/Higher Secondary/ B.Sc/ M.Sc/Degree in Marine Engineering in relevant disciplines OR its equivalent qualification from any Govt. recognized University/Board/Institute.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidates age should not exceed 30 years as on 21-04- 2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
PAY SCALE: Refer official notification.
REQUIRED FEE: Applicants have to pay Rs.50/-by all General & OBC category candidates in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps, which are available in all main post offices of the Country.
No fee from Female/ SC/ ST/ PH and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.
