REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: 1- Professor: A passed of Ph. D & Experience of 10 years after Ph. D OR 13 year’s total (not counting Ph. D enrolment period) out of which 7 years are to be after Ph.D. At least 3 years to be at Associate Professor level in an institution of repute.
2- Associate Professor: A passed of Ph. D & Experience: 6 years after Ph. D or 9 years total (not counting Ph. D enrolment period) out of which 3 years should be after Ph. D. Three years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of Rs. 8000/- OR equivalent in a reputed Institute, R & D Lab. OR in relevant Industry.
3- Associate Professor: A passed of Ph. D & an experience of 3 years after Ph. D OR 6 year’s total (not counting Ph. D enrolment period) after obtaining M. Tech degree.
4- Assistant Professor (On Contractual): A passed of Ph. D (M. Tech candidates with good academics record can also be considered).
REQUIRED AGE: Refer official notification.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: All applications will be scrutinized /Screening of candidates will be done on the basis of qualifications and experience only. All other requirements will be assessed by the selection committee. If selection committee feels that candidate does not fulfill the minimum requirements for the post, suitable lower post shall be offered to the candidate. The Institute reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for test or interview. Mere fulfillment of qualification person does not entitle a candidate to be called for test or interview. Priority of short listing shall be as under. Criteria for short listing shall be followed till the limit of candidates to be called for interview is reached. Preference will be given to those who possess desirable qualification. Candidates eligible for Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor will be given preference over other candidates.
