1. Scientist/ Senior Scientist: 16 posts.
2. Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist: 04 posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering or Ph.D. in Chemistry from any Govt. recognized University/ Institute and must also have relevant experience in concerned field.
REQUIRED AGE: For these posts candidate’s max age is 32 years for Scientist/ 37 years for Senior Scientist post/ 45 years for Principal Scientist and 50 years for Senior Principal Scientist. Refer official notification.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
PAY SCALE: Rs.15600/-39100/- for post Sl.no.1 and Rs.37400/-67000/- for post Sl.no.2.
REQUIRED FEE: A crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/-as an application fee valid for at least 3 months drawn at any nationalized bank in favour of "Director, CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum" and payable at Dehradun to be submitted along with application form.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Interview.
