NOTE: It is also brought out that Degree and Diploma in Engineering cannot be accepted as qualification for semi-skilled posts.
REQUIRED AGE: Applicant’s age should be in between 18 years to 32 years as on closing date.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
PAY SCALE: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-.
REQUIRED FEE: An application non-refundable fee of Rs.50/- by General & OBC category candidates is payable in the form of Crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The General Manager, Engine Factory Avadi” and payable at Avadi.
SC/ST/XSM & PH category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Ex Serviceman candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test of 100 marks and trade test (Practical).
