NOTIFICATION: Constitution and Personnel.-Under Section 118 (2) of States Reorganization Act of 1956, the Public Service Commissions for the former States of Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Bharat ceased to exist from 1-11-1956. The new Madhva Pradesh Public Service Commission was constituted as follows from 1st November 1956, under Section 118(3) of the States Reorganization Act by the order of the President; vide Notification No. 59 /6 / 56-SR-II, dated 27-10-56 of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Government of India. Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) invites online applications for the recruitment of 1271 vacancies of Medical Officers in Department of Public Health & Family Welfare from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian residents who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply online at official website up to 15-07-2014.

1- Backlog vacancies – 327 posts.
2- Current vacancies – 944 posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of a MBBS degree.
REQUIRED AGE: The applicant’s required age must be in between 21 years and 40 years as on 01-01-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC & Ex Servicemen category candidates.
PAY SCALE: Successful candidates will be appointed in pay band of Rs. 15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs. 100/-as an application fee by General & OBC category candidates and Rs. 70/- by reserved categories candidates have to pay the application fee either through Online or Offline mode.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: The suitable candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written examination and interview.
