NOTIFICATION: This All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi invites offline applications for the recruitment of 90 Assistant Professor Posts in various departments on regular basis from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian residents, candidates who are eligible & interested can apply through online mode at official website up to 14-08-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS: 90 Posts of Assistant Professor-
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A passed of a medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-
II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act)/ A postgraduate qualification, i.e. MD in Anatomy or Pathology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto/3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anatomy or Pathology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
REQUIRED AGE: The required age of a candidate should not exceed 50 years as on closing date.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC and Ex Serviceman category candidates.
REQUIRED FEE: An amount of Rs. 500/- by General & OBC candidates and Rs. 100/- by SC/ST candidates to be paid. The application fee once remitted shall not be refunded.
The applicants can pay the prescribed application fee through a Challan form to be downloaded from internet while applying online in any branch of State Bank of India or through Debit Card/Credit Card. Transaction Processing fee, if any, as applicable, shall be payable to the Bank by the Candidate.
PAY SCALE: PB-03 – Rs. 15600-39100/- + NPA for medical candidates only subject to minimum pay of Rs. 30000/ – + Grade pay of Rs. 8000/- + a provision to move to PB-4 after 3 years (Rs. 37400-67000/-) with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700/-.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS: Eligible Ccandidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in interview.
