NOTIFICATION:    Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Section invites online applications for the recruitment of various vacant posts of Navik (General Duty) for the batch 01/ 2015 from young, dynamic and motivated unmarried male persons of Indian residents who are eligible & interested candidates can apply online at official website up to 25-07-2014.

POST WISE DETAILS:   10+2 Entry- Navik General Duty posts-

Navik (General Duty)- 10+2 ENTRY (01/ 2015 Batch)	Age limit should be in between 18 – 22 years. i.e between 01-02-1993 to 31-01-1997.	Rs. 5200 –20200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-+ other applicable Allowance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:   Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% marks aggregate in total and minimum 50% in each subject of Maths and Physics from an education Board recognized by Central/State Government.

AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable as per the Govt. rules for SC/ ST /OBC & Ex Servicemen category candidates.

MEDICAL STANDARDS: As per given details-

a- Height - Minimum height 157 cms. Relaxation in height for candidates from hilly and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders. 

b- Chest - Should be well proportioned with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. 

c- Weight - Proportionate to height and age @ 10% acceptable. 

d- Hearing - Normal. 

e- Medical examination - will be conducted by authorized military doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to Enrolled Personnel on entry. 

f- Visual Standards - 6/6 (Better Eye) and 6/9(Worse Eye). (Candidates using glasses are not eligible).

REQUIRED FEE:  There is no application fee is required.

POST RESERVATION:  The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time.

SELECTION PROCESS:  Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, Physical Fitness Test and Medical Examination.
