Reservation Policy: Benefits are applicable only to Haryana Domicile candidates. Vertical and horizontal reservations (including quotas for Ex-Servicemen and Women) are implemented as per Haryana Government norms.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- MBBS Degree from a university recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Registration: Must be registered as a Medical Practitioner with NMC or any State Medical Council in India.
- Language: Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric (10th) level or higher.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates with MD/MS or MCI-approved PG Diplomas.
Age Limit (As of 07.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 22 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST/BC candidates get +5 years relaxation. Other relaxations for PwBD and Ex-Servicemen apply per government rules.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection for Haryana Medical Officer 2025 follows a merit-based approach:
- Written Examination: 100 Marks.
- Academic Weightage: Up to 14 Marks (PG Degree = 14, PG Diploma = 10).
- Professional Experience: Up to 10 Marks (@ 2 marks per year in Govt. service).
