NOTIFICATION: Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI) Thrissur has notified a recruitment to fill up 23 vacant posts of various Scientists in various disciplines from the candidates who have qualified in first class M.Sc in Botany; Ph.D in Systematics in any one of the following groups of plants - Bryophytes/Pteridophytes/Lichens and other disciplines with 5 years post doctoral experience in taxonomy and ecology of any one of the above mentioned group of plants/First class MA/M.Sc in forestry /Economics /Environmental Economics/Ph.D in any of the above subject with specialization in Forest Economics /M.Sc in Zoology with specialization in entomology and other disciplines. Post Doctoral experience of 2 years in forest economics and other disciplnes is desirable and having eligible age limit. ABOUT: Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI) is a premier forestry research institute in the country. Within a short span of its existence KFRI has made a strong niche among the tropical research institutions within India and abroad by conducting time bound, focused and need-based research on priority areas of tropical forestry, including Wildlife Biology, Socio-economics and Wood Science & Technology.
