Lady Officer: A passed of a Master Degree in Social work or Labour Welfare obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government; (2) The basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment(General)Rules-1967; and (3) Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
3. Joint Director: A passed of a Second Class Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering obtained from any of the universities established or incorporated by or under the Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or any other educational institutions established or recognized as such by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under section-3 of University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government for this purpose or as per detailed advertisement; or AMIE(I), in the subject as specified in sub-clause (i) above or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of any other institute recognized by the Government.
