APSC ELIGIBILITY
APSC QUALIFICATION-EDUCATION
As per details given below -
Ø Assistant
Engineer (Civil)
Aspirants passed class of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by Government Or Passed Part A
and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers
(India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of
Engineers (India). Degrees obtained through Distance mode of education will not
be accepted as the Department modifies the Schedule-II appended to Rule 8 of
the Assam Engineering (PWD) Service Rules, 1978 issued vide Govt. OM RBEB.33/2019/12
Dated Dispur the 4th July/2019. Apart from English, the aspirants
should have adequate knowledge of at least 1official language of the State of
Assam (i.e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong
Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
Ø Junior
Engineer (Civil)
Aspirants passed class of 3 years Diploma course in Civil
Engineering from an Institution recognized by the Government. The Diploma
Courses must be a Regular Course. Diploma Courses obtained through Distance
Mode of Education, by whatever name called, will not be accepted. Apart from
English, the aspirants should have adequate knowledge of at least one official language of the State of Assam
(i.e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong
Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

Assistant Engineer
Rs. 30,000/-1,10,000/-PB 4+ Grade Pay Rs 12,700/-+ other allowances as admissible
under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.
Junior Engineer
Rs. 14,000/-49,000/-PB 2 + Grade Pay Rs 8,700/-+
other allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.
APSC AGE LIMIT
Aspirant’s required age should be
in between of 21 years – 38 years as on 01-01-2019 for APSC AE & JE Recruitment 2019 for 463 Jobs.

APSC Civil Services Prelims 2018 Results Released: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the results of Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2018 on its official website, www.apsc.nic.in. The APSC Preliminary exam was conducted on December 30, 2018. The result PDF contains the Roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified to appear for the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2018. Roll Numbers of qualified candidates are in serial orders given. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their result and download results from the official website.
The date for filling up of the Application Form for the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2018 will be notified shortly. The said Examination will be held tentatively during the month of July, 2019.
NOTE: With regard to the errors that had crept into the answer keys the Commission has awarded grace marks on ‘pro-rata basis’ in the relevant cases vis-a-vis the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India’s verdict in case number Appeal (Civil) 1997 of 2008.
NOTE: Results of 3 candidates bearing Roll No. 1022748, 1503707 and 2901855 are kept withheld in pursuance of Hon’ble Gauhati High Court order dated 20th December, 2018.
