Criteria

The Southern Railway is
recruiting 67 sportspersons. Candidates with 10th, 12th, ITI, or
graduation can apply online.

The age limit for recruitment
through Talent Scouting scheme is 18-25 years for both Group 'C' and 'D'
categories. The lower and upper age relaxation for recruitment of
sportspersons through Talent Scouting will be granted only by the Board to the
outstanding sportspersons.

Candidates must fill out an
application form and submit it along with required documents such as
certificates of sports achievements, educational qualifications, and age
proof. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be called for
selection trials.

Southern Railway Apprentice Educational Qualifications
Those
candidates having the 10th Class, 12th Class with 50% marks and ITI

Southern Railway Apprentice Age Limit
The
candidate age should be between 15 – 24 years can apply for these posts. The
upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST & PWD candidates and 3
years for OBC candidates.
Southern Railway Apprentice Salary
As
per the Government of India Rules. Check the Official Notification for the
Salary Details.
Rate of Stipend
1. Fresher’s – 10th
std Rs.6000/- (per month).
2.
Fresher’s - 12th
std Rs.7000/- (per month).
3.
Ex-ITI Rs.7000/-
(per month).
I. During the second
year of apprenticeship training, there shall be an increase of 10 per cent in
the prescribed minimum stipend amount and further 15 percent increase in the
prescribed minimum stipend amount during the third year of apprenticeship
training.
II.
In the case of
National or State Certificate holder, the period of training already undergone
by him or her in a school or other institution recognized by the National
council or state council, shall be taken into account for the purpose of
determining the minimum payable rate of stipend.

pay the Application Fees of Rs.100/-.

SC/ ST/ PwD/ Women
Candidates are exempted to pay the Application Fees.
3.
