OPSC Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate must be a citizen of India. If the candidate has more than
one spouse living is not eligible until the State Government has approved any
valid reason.
If the candidate has been disqualified from any exam or interview by the
Odisha Public Service Commission, any other State Service Commission, or UPSC,
then he/she is not eligible. Government servants (temporary or permanent) are
eligible. They have to submit the NOC during the document verification.
Every selected candidate will be examined by the Medical Board. If the
candidate is unable to meet the requirements of the Medical Board he/she will
be rejected.
To be eligible for the OPSC
Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following
criteria:

Minimum 21 years and maximum 38 years as of January 1,
2024.
The upper age restriction may be lowered by five years for candidates
from SC, ST, SEBC, and women, and by ten years for those with disabilities who

For Engineering/Technology, B.E/B.Tech/B.S and M.E/M.Tech/M.S or
Integrated M. Tech in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one
of the degrees.
Master's degree: A
Master's Degree in the relevant subject from an Indian or foreign university
with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
