Vacancy Details & Reservation Policy

The recruitment is conducted for various disciplines including Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Civil, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biosciences, Geology, and Geophysics.


  • Reservation Policy: As per Central Government rules, age relaxations and fee waivers are provided for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwD candidates.
  • Special Quotas: Specific relaxations apply to Ex-Servicemen, dependents of those who died in the 1984 riots, and persons domiciled in Kashmir Division.



Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engineering) / 5-year Integrated M.Tech. with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
  • Science: M.Sc. in relevant subjects (Physics, Chemistry, etc.) with 60% marks in both Graduation and Post-Graduation.
  • Final Year Students: Candidates awaiting final results are also eligible to apply.



Age Limit (As of August 1, 2026)

  • General: Maximum 26 Years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Maximum 29 Years
  • SC/ST: Maximum 31 Years



Selection Process & Exam Pattern

Selection is a two-stage process:


  1. Screening: Based on BARC Online Exam OR GATE Score (2024/2025/2026). Candidates are encouraged to use both routes.
  2. Selection Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a rigorous technical interview in Mumbai or Hyderabad.


Exam Pattern / Syllabus Overview

  • Mode: Online Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • Question Type: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Marking Scheme: +3 for correct answers; -1 for incorrect answers.
