are to be filled up through direct recruitment by Union Public Service Commission from
Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested, apply up to 05-08-2013.

1. BSF: 110 Posts.
2. CRPF: 138 Posts.
3. CISF: 56 Posts.
4. ITBP: 120 Posts.
REQUIRED AGE: 20 years - 25 years as on 01-08-2013 i.e., he/she must have been
born not earlier than 02-08-1988 and not later than 01-08-1993.
RELAXATION IN AGE: The upper age is relax
able for SC/ ST/ OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent
specified in the Notice.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Candidates must possess
a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognised University incorporated
by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.
REQUIRED PHYSICAL STANDARDS: Candidates must be
physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.
GENDER: Both male and female
candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, CRPF and CISF. However, only
male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.
NCC B or C Certificate will be a given weightage qualification. The desirable qualifications
will be considered at the time of Interview/ Personality Test only.
PAY SCALE: PB-3- Rs.15600/-39100/- + grade pay Rs.5400/-.

SELECTION PROCESS: On the basis of a written examination to be conducted on 20-10-2013
by the UPSC followed by Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and
Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the
Personality Test/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.
REQUIRED FEE: Candidates need
to pay the fee of Rs.200/- either by depositing the money in any branch of the
SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI, State Bank of
Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of
Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. SC/ ST/ Women
Candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
