NOTIFICATION: The Bihar Public Service Commission came into existence from 1st -April 1949 after its separation from the Commission for the States of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh, in accordance with sub-section (1) of section 261 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted. Its constitutional status was pronounced with the promulgation of Constitution of India on 26th January, 1950. It is a Constitutional Body under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. 1-Mental Disorder Specialist (Psychiatrist): 19 Posts.
2-Skin Specialist: 75 Posts.
3-E.N.T Specialist: 131 Posts.
4-Eye Disease Specialist: 68 Posts.
5-Microbiologists: 20 Posts.
6-Pathologists: 53 Posts.
7-Radiologists: 142 Posts.
8-Physicians Specialist: 135 Posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of MBBS/ PG Degree in relevant discipline from any recognized University with Registration at Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and must have required experience in concerned field.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s max age should not exceed 37 years for General category candidates as on 01-08-2014.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: SC/ ST category applicants of Bihar State have to pay Rs.75/- as an application fee and remaining other category candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.150/- as an application fee & Bank Charges on the form of prescribed Challan form available on the website. Application fee is payable at any branch of State Bank of India in Account No.31650243410.
POST RESERVATION: The reservation for different categories will be regulated as per provision of the Govt. of India as amended from time to time to SC/ ST/ OBC/ widows candidates.
SELECTION PROCESS: The shortlisted eligible candidates only will be selected on the basis of their performance in Scrutiny of Applications by Educational qualification, work experience & interview.
