NOTIFICATION: The Institute of Minerals and Materials
Technology- IMMT, (formerly Regional Research Laboratory, Bhubaneswar) was setup
as a premier establishment of the Council of Scientific & Industrial
Research (CSIR), New Delhi in 1964 in the State of Odisha, in eastern India.
The laboratory specializes in providing R&D support for process and product
development with special emphasis on conservation and sustainable utilization
of natural resources. Over the years, IMMT has developed S&T capabilities
in a wide range of areas from mineralogy to materials engineering. Institute of
Minerals & Materials Technology (IMMT) invites offline application for the

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below-

(S01): A passed of M.E. / M. Tech or
equivalent in Metallurgy / Mineral / Mineral Resource Management/ Chemical /
Ceramic / Material Resource Engineering with 1st class B.E./ B. Tech. or
equivalent in Engineering.
2.
Senior
Scientist (S01): A passed of Ph.D. in
Metallurgy / Mineral / Chemical/ Ceramic / Material Resource Engineering with
1st class B.E./B. Tech or equivalent in Engineering.
3.
Scientist
(S02): A passed of Ph.D. in Geology/
Applied Geology / Ore Geology -submitted.
4.
Senior
Scientist (S02): A passed of Ph.D. in
Geology / Applied Geology / Ore Geology with 2 years relevant experience after
Ph.D.
5.
Principal
Scientist (S03): A passed of Ph. D. in
Metallurgical Engineering with 1st class B.E/B. Tech or equivalent degree in
Engineering having 3 years relevant experience after Ph.D.
6.
Senior
Principal Scientist (S03): A passed of Ph.D.
in Metallurgical Engineering with 1st class B.E/B. Tech or equivalent degree in
Engineering having 6 years relevant experience after Ph.D.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below-
Senior Scientist: Rs.15600-39100
+ GP Rs.6600 / Rs.7600/-.
Principal Scientist: Rs.37400-67000
+ GP Rs.8700 / Rs.8900/-.
REQUIRED AGE: The required age of a candidate should be in between of 32 to 37 years and 45 / 50 years as on closing date.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for
reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: An Application
fee of Rs.100/- by General & OBC candidates to be paid in the form of a Demand
