ER Apprentice Educational Qualification - Sarkari Job 10th Pass

Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized Board and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT. However, for the following Trades, the minimum educational qualification is an 8th class pass from any recognized School and the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT -

1 Welder (Gas and Electric).

2 Sheet Metal Worker.

3 Lineman.

4 Wireman.

5 Carpenter.

6 Painter (General).

Eastern Railway Apprentice Stipend - RRB Jobs

Candidates finally engaged will be provided Stipends at the prescribed rate as per extant provisions. This notification is purely for apprenticeship training and not for employment. For detailed information regarding the Eastern Railway Apprentice Stipend, refer to the official notification.

RRC Eastern Railway Apprentice Age Limit

Candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years (as on the cutoff date for receiving an application). The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in the case of SC/ ST candidates, 3 years in the case of OBC-NCL candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates.

For General/EWS/Others – Rs. 100/-.

For SC/ ST/ PWBD/ Women candidates – No Fees

Eastern Railway Apprentice Selection Process

Selection of a candidate for the training slot of a unit of Eastern railway will be on the basis of merit prepared in respect of all eligible candidates who apply against the notification. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of data/ details filled up by candidates in the online application form.
