Vacancy Details & Reservation Policy
The 226 vacancies are distributed across various technical and management disciplines:
- Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI): 90 Posts
- Trade Apprentice (Fresher): 40 Posts
- Graduate Apprentice: 40 Posts
- Technician Apprentice: 50 Posts
- HR Trainee: 06 Posts
Reservation Policy: Vertical reservation for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and EWS is strictly followed as per Govt. of India rules. Horizontal reservation for Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) is also applicable. Candidates from the local region (West Bengal & Jharkhand) may receive preference in specific apprentice categories.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Trade Apprentice: 10th Pass + ITI (NCVT) in respective trades (Fitter, Welder, Machinist, etc.).
- Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Civil Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering in relevant branches.
- HR Trainee: Full-time Graduate + MBA/PG Diploma (2 years) in HR/Personnel Management with min. 60% marks.
Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 14 Years (Apprentices) / 18 Years (HR Trainee)
- Maximum Age: 26 Years
- Age Relaxation: * OBC (NCL): +3 Years
- SC/ST: +5 Years
- PwD: +10 Years
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
- For Apprentices: Selection is based on a Merit List prepared using marks obtained in the qualifying exam (ITI/Diploma/Degree).
- For HR Trainee: Written Test -> Interview -> Document Verification.
Exam Pattern (HR Trainee)
- Subjects: Part-I (Discipline Knowledge - 60 Marks) & Part-II (General Aptitude - 25 Marks).
- Total Marks: 85 Marks.
- Duration: 90 Minutes.
- Negative Marking: No negative marking.
Salary Structure & Benefits
- Apprentice Stipend: ₹7,000 to ₹15,000 per month (varying by category).
- HR Trainee Salary: During training, candidates receive a consolidated stipend. Upon successful completion, they are absorbed into the E-1 grade with a pay scale of ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000.
