Vacancy Details & Reservation Policy
UCIL follows the Government of India reservation rules. The 107 vacancies are distributed as follows:
- Mining Mate-C: 95 Posts (UR-35, ST-29, SC-13, EWS-13, OBC-05)
- Winding Engine Driver-B: 09 Posts
- Boiler-cum-Compressor Attendant-A: 03 Posts
Reservation Rules: Vertical reservation is provided for SC/ST/OBC/EWS. Horizontal reservation applies to PwBD and Ex-Servicemen as per GoI guidelines. Domicile-based relaxations for J&K residents are also applicable.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Mining Mate-C: Matric (10th) Pass + Valid DGMS Mining Mate/Foreman Certificate + 3 Years Experience in Metalliferous Mines.
- Winding Engine Driver-B: Matric Pass + 1st Class Winding Engine Driver Certificate (DGMS) + 3 Years Experience.
- Boiler Attendant: Matric Pass + 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate + 1 Year Experience.
Age Limit (As on 31.12.2025)
- Mining Mate-C: Maximum 40 Years (Max 53 for highly experienced candidates).
- Winding Engine Driver-B: Maximum 32 Years.
- Boiler Attendant-A: Maximum 30 Years.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST (+5 years), OBC-NCL (+3 years), PwBD (+10 to 15 years).
