Educational Qualification

All posts require a minimum of Matriculation (Class 10th / High School) or equivalent from a recognised board in India. Additional post-specific requirements apply:


  • Civilian Catering Instructor (CCI): Matriculation + Diploma/Certificate in Catering. One year of experience as a cooking instructor is desirable.
  • Cook: Matriculation + knowledge of Indian cooking and proficiency in the trade. One year of relevant experience is desirable.
  • MTS (Chowkidar): Matriculation. Proficiency in the relevant trade is desirable.
  • Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade): Matriculation + valid driving licence for both Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) and Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) + minimum 2 years of driving experience.
  • Cleaner: Matriculation + proficiency in the relevant trade.
  • Tradesman Mate (Labour): Matriculation + proficiency in the relevant trade/work.
  • Fire Engine Driver: Matriculation + valid heavy vehicle driving licence + minimum 3 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles. Certification after attending a fireman course is preferable.
  • Fireman: Matriculation + knowledge of the use and maintenance of different types of fire extinguishers, hose fittings, firefighting equipment, first-aid firefighting, and trailer fire pump operations.
  • Leading Fireman: Matriculation + knowledge of the use and maintenance of firefighting equipment + ability to train, guide and control the work of a shift and independently take charge of a shift.
