Educational Qualification

Junior Engineer-I (Electrical) Candidates must possess a full-time four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or AMIE in Electrical Engineering or equivalent disciplines (Electrical & Electronics, Electrical Instrumentation & Control, Power Systems & High Voltage, Power Electronics, Power Engineering) from a University/Institution established by law in India and recognized by AICTE.


Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical) Full-time four-year B.E./B.Tech or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Production, Industrial, Production & Industrial, Thermal, Mechanical & Automation, Power Engineering) from a recognized AICTE-approved institution.


Junior Engineer-I (Civil) Full-time four-year B.E./B.Tech or AMIE in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Structural Engineering, Civil Construction Engineering) from a recognized AICTE-approved institution.


Junior Accountant Graduation in Commerce (B.Com) / BBA, or Intermediate CA/ICWA (IPCC), or MBA (Finance), or minimum two-year M.Com, along with a recognized computer qualification such as RSCIT, DOEACC ‘O’ Level, NIELIT CCC, COPA, DPCS, Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Applications, or 12th/Graduation with Computer Science as a subject.


Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II Senior Secondary (12th) pass from a recognized Board plus a recognized computer proficiency certificate (RSCIT / DOEACC ‘O’ Level / NIELIT CCC / COPA or equivalent as prescribed). Some sources also mention graduation in any discipline with computer qualification; candidates must verify the exact requirement in the detailed notification.

RVUNL JE Salary, Stipend & Pay Scale Details

Selected candidates under RVUNL Recruitment 2026 will be appointed on a probationer-trainee basis for two years. During the probation/training period, Junior Engineer-I and Junior Accountant posts carry a fixed monthly remuneration of ₹23,700. After successful completion of probation, they will be placed in Pay Matrix Level-10 with a basic pay of ₹33,800 per month.

Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II posts carry a lower pay structure: approximately ₹14,600 fixed during probation and basic pay of around ₹20,800 (Level-5/6 equivalent) after regularisation.

RVUNL JE Selection Process

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT) – single stage, objective-type.
