The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation of candidature or non-appearance in the examination. UPSSSC Senior Instructor Detailed Selection Process

The selection process for UPSSSC Senior Instructor Recruitment 2026 is multi-stage and designed to identify candidates with both subject expertise and general aptitude suitable for training roles in rural development. In the first stage, candidates are shortlisted purely on the basis of their normalised scores obtained in the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. Only those who meet the prescribed cut-off based on PET scores are invited to appear for the Main Written Examination. The Main Examination is a single objective-type paper of 100 marks.

Candidates who clear the written examination according to the category-wise cut-off are then called for Document Verification, where original certificates related to age, educational qualification, category, domicile and PET scorecard are thoroughly scrutinised. After successful document verification, candidates undergo a medical examination conducted by a government medical board to assess physical fitness for the post. There is no physical efficiency test or skill test for these instructional posts, and no interview is conducted. Final merit is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Main Written Examination, subject to document verification and medical fitness. The entire process is transparent and follows the guidelines issued by the Commission.
