AFCAT 2 2023 Notification Eligibility Criteria
The jobseekers must fulfill the following two criteria to
be eligible for the AFCAT 2 2023 Exam like Age limit and educational
Qualification.
AFCAT II 2023 Age Limit
Flying Branch
: 20 to 24 years as of 01 July 2024 i.e.
born between 2nd July 2000 to 1st July 2004 (both dates inclusive). The upper
age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License
issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 2nd July
1998 to 1st July 2004 (both dates inclusive).
Ground Duty
(Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as of 1st July 2024 i.e. born
between 2nd July 1998 to 1st July 2004 both dates Inclusive.
AFCAT II Recruitment 2023 - Educational Qualifications
For Flying
Branch: Minimum
50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a three-year degree
in Graduation OR a BE/ BTech degree with a minimum of 60% from any recognized
university (or)
BE/ B Tech Degree
(Four years of courses) from any recognized University with a minimum of 60%
marks or equivalent.
Jobseekers
who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of
Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a
recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
For Ground
Duty Technical Branch Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) AE (M):
Minimum 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a four-year
Degree in Graduation/ integrated post-graduation in the field of engineering
and technology from any recognized University OR
Cleared
Sections A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of
Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies with a
minimum of 60% marks or equivalent disciplines.
Aeronautical

marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum 4 years
degree in graduation/ integrated post-graduation in the field of engineering
and technology from a recognized university OR
Those who
have cleared the examination of associate membership of the institution of
engineers (India) in both A and B section or Aeronautical Society of India or
Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication
Engineers by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
disciplines.
For Ground
Duty (Non-Technical) Branch Administration & Logistics: Passed
10+2 and Graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks with a three-year degree
course from any recognized University OR should have cleared section A & B
examination with a minimum of 60% marks.
Accounts
Branch: Passed 10+2 and done Graduation in any
of the mentioned streams with 60 % marks or equivalent.
Meteorology: Passed 10+2
and Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/
Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/
Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/
Geo-physics/ Environmental Biology with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of

the following allowances are admissible to the newly Commissioned Officers in
Flying and Technical Branches.

AFCAT 2 Recruitment 2023 Application Fee
Jobseekers
registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs.250/- as an
examination fee.
However,
candidates registering for NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry are not
required to pay any Fee.
AFCAT 2 2023 Written Exam Pattern
AFCAT
2 Written Exam is an entry level exam for
the jobseekers. One must need to score the minimum qualifying marks (or the cut
off being announced by the Indian Air Force) in order to get the call letter
for AFSB.
AFCAT 2 Syllabus
AFCAT
exam
will consist of four sections i.e. General Awareness, Verbal Ability in
English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test.
NOTE: The
AFCAT 2 Syllabus exam will consist of objective-type questions and will be in
English.
Level
of the Exam: Subjects other than numerical

AFCAT 2 2023 Physical Fitness
While
reporting to the SSB, candidates are advised to be physically fit and
healthy in order to undergo various tests at AFSB. Candidates should aim to
achieve an ability to run 01 miles (1.6 km) in 10 minutes, 10 push-ups and 3
chin ups.
AFCAT 2 2023 Medical Examination
Recommended
jobseekers will be called for the medical examination. The Indian Airforce has
prescribed only two centres for Medical Examination which are as the Institute
of Aviation Medicine, Bengaluru and Air Force Central Medical
Establishment (AFCME). After the medical examination, a final merit list
would be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidate in written
and AFSB interviews. All the shortlisted candidates would be given the joining
letter of the respective training academies they have applied to.
AFCAT 2 2023 Result
AFCAT
Written Exam is being conducted in the
month of August and February. AFCAT result will be announced
within 15 to 20 days of the written examination. After declaration of the
written exam result, AFSB will conduct the SSB process for all the
shortlisted candidates. The candidates will be called for different AFSB
centres.
